ATT is having a pretty awesome deal for the next 9 hours – especially if you are an existing customer. You can get a free LG Vu CU920 which they say costs $299 regularly for free if sign up for a 2 year contract extension. In other words, this is an LG Touchscreen for free when you extend your contract. The data plan is only $15 a month which is really cheap compared to most data plans.
ATT is also offering a bonus Bluetooth TrueBlue headset worth $59.99 for free. The text messaging plan is a little high, but if you aren’t that big of a texter, you can get a 200 plan for a fair $5 per month. The data plan on this is incredibly cheap compared to the black berry or iphone. Again, this is an online deal for April 27, 2009 for only the next 9 hours.
The phone looks like it’s limited to the red wine LGVuCu920. This phone also has AT&T’s Mobile TV Service packed inside it as well as a 2.0 Megapixel Camera/Camcorder.
The Apple iTouch is a fun device that gives you the ability to listen to or watch video and audio media files. I use it most as an MP3 player while I workout, but the Touch is also flexible in that it enables you to listen to podcasts and audiobooks. This is a tremendous feature if you are driving for 20 or more minutes. Audio can be downloaded to the iTouch easily through iTunes and is easy to play back.
You can also play videos with the iTouch whether downloaded or streaming from the Internet. The iTouch does give you Internet capability, but you must have access to the network which will be impracticable most of the time you are away from a free wireless network. If you primarily want to surf using the iTouch, it is recommended you upgrade to the iPhone although the costs are associated with the iPhone are much higher – $600 without the plan. The iTouch can be bought for around $150.

The iTouch can definitely serve as a top notch PDA. You have easy access to a calendar, notepad, and clock. As noted before, the iTouch can also be a workout buddy because it has a stop watch with lap reset in addition to it’s ability to furnish audio. The screen resolution is absolutely prestine and the battery life is solid with 4 hours of play time minimum.
It is recommended that you get a iTouch cover to help prevent scratches to the outside shell casing on the PDA. The iTouch is very thin and lightweight (it is lighter and less thick than the iPhone).
iTouch Rating
Overall: 4.5 stars
Detractors – can’t connect to the Internet unless you’re near wireless, iPhone provides same features but with phone and Internet
Best Assets – inexpensive, easy to use, great media player

Essentially the Kindle is a reader of all types of information. With its wireless connection, it’s an electronic reader for blogs, magazines, books, newspapers, and the web. However, the main purpose is for flipping pages through conventional books on a digital screen. Thus, it has an ability to turn any conventional paperback into an e-book.
The Kindle displays text crisply with its high resolution display. Amazon is the exclusive publisher of the Kindle. Ultimately, the Kindle is just an electronic device with the ability to be converted into any book or type.
The Kindle’s real practicability comes into play when traveling on a plane or sitting in on a long car drive. Of course, it will become more useful once wi-fi becomes more widespread, but as it is you can still download books, blogs, and other text into the device and store them for later reading. Information is becoming easier and easier to obtain through technology.
